Process management

In-Process Module

B1.E

Pre-Process

The participant acquires a basic understanding of the process. He knows the functionalities of the AM plant as well as the theoretical process sequence, divided into start, component build-up and end phase of the AM process. The participant can recognize process irregularities independently and with the support of the monitoring systems and process data and to react to them appropriately. The participant can carry out targeted process interventions.

Prior knowledge

Basic knowledge of AM technologies

Learning content

Context

  • Influence of the AM process flow on the final component

Handling

  • Operation of the AM system
  • Process steps (start phase, build phase, final phase)
  • Process parameters and their influence on the process
  • Incident management

Control of the process flow

  • Process monitoring systems (functionality and informative value of sensor data)
  • Process evaluation by visual inspection and with the help of the monitoring systems
  • Detection of process faults

Documentation

  • Documentation of the process flow by recording and storing the process and process monitoring data
