    The participants are able (considering the particularities of the specific printing technologies and materials used) to separate components from the building substrate, free them from support material and remove material residues. To this end, the participants also learn how to handle handling systems

    Prior knowledge

    Required: manual skills in the use of manual as well as automated separation processes and other auxiliary equipment.

    Knowledge is imparted in the area of (mandatory) component-related post-processing for additive manufacturing processes. The participants acquire knowledge about

    ▪ the (mechanical, thermal, chemical) separation of components from the building substrate

    ▪ the (mechanical, thermal, chemical) removal of support material

    ▪ the (mechanical, thermal, chemical) removal of material residues (cleaning)
