The SPEE3D founders, Byron Kennedy and Steven Camilleri, have a long history of commercialising innovative technologies and establishing factories all over the world. SPEE3D was founded because time and time again they came up against the same issues… making metal parts was just hard. Inspired to develop a technology that made it easier, they established SPEE3D.
Our mission is to make it easier.
SPEE3D printers enable the most affordable metal additive manufacturing process in the world. They make metal parts the fastest way possible, leveraging metal cold spray technology to produce industrial quality metal parts in just minutes, rather than days or weeks. The process harnesses the power of kinetic energy, rather than relying on high-power lasers and expensive gasses. And for the first time it allows the flexibility of metal 3D printing at normal production costs.
Long time member and founding partner (as SLM Solutions group) of the network. Now bringing
Australian technology into the EU-area and want to use the network for that.
Further personol activities of me are guest lectures of universities and running work groups in
international standardization as well as AMUG user group activity to promote my mission to
support bringing additive technology to mainstream society globally since over 20 years now
Network Contribution
Surely adding one new technology to the metal AM-field with cold spray.
