Reinforce3D

Reinforce3D is a dynamic startup dedicated to advancing and commercializing the Continuous Fibre Injection Process (CFIP) technology. CFIP represents a breakthrough post-processing method that significantly enhances the mechanical properties and lightweight characteristics of 3D printed components by incorporating continuous fibers, such as carbon fibers.

In contrast to existing CFRAM technologies that reinforce parts during the additive manufacturing process, CFIP employs a novel approach by reinforcing the part after its fabrication. This is achieved through the simultaneous injection of continuous fibers and liquid resin into tubular cavities within the part. Following this, the part undergoes curing, solidifying the resin to create a robust mechanical interface between the fibers and the part material.
