Membership Motivation

In Germany, Alstom offers innovative Solutions for sustainable mobility and is one of the leading suppliers of railway technology with metros, suburban trains, Trams, regional trains, locomotives and signalling solutions. Our train travel from Schleswig-Holstein Bavaria. For our customers, we look after the complete life cycle of our products from product development, manufacturing, homologation and maintenance. This means that we are interested to use this network to exchange a new developments in 3-D printing, work on rail great approval, reliability standards, materials and also topics concerning the digital supply chain.

Network Contribution

For the time being, we have rich expertise in engineering industrialization of 3D printed parts, some of them already mounted on trains. Especially when it comes to the implementation of new build and spare parts, we have a wide range of applications.for structural applications, we would like to bring in our expertise concerning validation.since the beginning of this year with a 3D printing HUB available with focusing on metal printing use cases. We are already in contact with many printing companies, service provider and the most present OEMs kike Stratasys, Gefertec, EOS, Ultimaker …
