AeroEdge manufactures and supplies TiAl (Titanium Aluminide) turbine blades for SAFRAN AIRCRAFT ENGINES. These blades are installed in the latest aircraft engine, LEAP, which powers the Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX.
In parallel, AeroEdge is advancing new business initiatives using additive manufacturing technology. The company operates two systems: an electron beam powder-bed fusion machine and a hybrid machine combining direct energy deposition with 5-axis milling. Actual parts have already been delivered to customers in Japan. AeroEdge recognizes that metallurgy and Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) are essential to maximizing the value of AM.
