We are looking for reinforcement for a number of our projects and are in search of a passionate Engineer to help us out in our 3D-Printing Lab. As a 3D-Printing Process & Development Engineer, you will typically work with FFF and later on with SLA machines for the manufacturing of ceramics and/or metal. Your day-to-day responsibilities shall include:
– Development of 3DCeram’s new generation of Ceramic and Metal FFF Machines together with the 3DCeram team in France
– Printing of FFF ceramic and metal parts for customers
– Operation of surface treatment equipment
– Operation of heat treatment equipment (high- temperature furnaces)
– Supervision of Trainees
Required Skills/Software:
• Very good knowledge of filament-based 3D-printing (FFF) – you preferably own one or have extensive experience as a user.
• Intermediate knowledge on Materials – focus on ceramics and metals
• Very good knowledge of Mechanical CAD Software (Solidworks)
• Slicer Software (Cura)
• Programming with microcontrollers
• Programming in Python
• MS-Office
Your Qualities:
• You are able carry out tasks independently as well work well in a group
• You have good communications skills
• You have good analytical and problem-solving skills
• You are highly motivated and passionate about 3D-Printing
• You are able to work in an international environment with colleagues, partners and customers located in different parts of the world
• You preferably have prior work experience
Language Skills:
• English: Fluent
• German or French is a plus
