Knowledge is imparted in the area of (optional) component-related post-processing for additive manufacturing processes. The participants acquire knowledge about
▪ common surface finishing processes
▪ common surface treatment processes
▪ general technical communication and work planning in manufacturing technology to derive the post-processing type, location and scope from technical drawings
▪ General technical communication and work planning in assembly technology for deriving the assembly planning for assemblies, subassemblies or components from, for example, assembly drawings, exploded views, assembly instructions and parts lists.
The participants are able (taking into account the particularities of the specific printing technologies and materials used) to apply surface finishing processes as well as specific surface treatment processes to achieve desired technical surfaces In addition, the ability to carry out the finishing of functional surfaces/functional elements and subsequent assembly of subassemblies according to derivation from e.g. technical drawings or assembly drawings is taught.
