They are a German startup located in Berlin, funded as a joint venture initiative between industry-leaders Siemens Energy and ZEISS — as well as financial/venture capital investors including 9.5 ventures. They aim to become the leading platform for additive manufacturing services and accelerate the adoption of 3D printing by facilitating the access to reliable, industrial grade, and custom manufacturing. At MakerVerse, they guarantee quality at price – from prototypes to end-use parts – so that our customers get exactly what they ordered for a variety of use cases. To save their customers the time they would normally spend sourcing quotes, they developed an AI-based pricing algorithm providing instant quotations for a wide range of additive manufacturing technologies, materials and post-processing methods. They automate production through a vetted European network of certified producers, now scaled to 700+ printers across Europe. This means MakerVerse can guarantee fast and reliable lead times, providing customers with end-to-end fulfillment security.
As a startup, we aim to become the leading platform for additive manufacturing services and accelerate the adoption of 3D printing by facilitating the access to reliable, industrial grade, and custom manufacturing. To reach our purpose, we look forward to the exchange and targeted know-how and information transfer with other experts in the industry (focusing on latest technologies or processes in additive). The MGA provides contact to well-known experts in the field and we would highly appreciate the chance to join the related knowledge transfer, thereby also bringing in the 150+ years of experience of the MakerVerse experts.
We would love to contribute to the MGA building on 2 pillars:
1. Invitations to exclusive industry events: MakerVerse hosts regular in-person events as well as virtual roundtable discussions with leading industry experts. We would love to invite the MGA members to those exclusive events to facilitate targeted knowledge transfer within the industry.
2. Access to exclusive, technical content pieces: At MakerVerse, we follow the mission to make technical knowledge accessible to industrial makers. Therefore, we work on a lot of technical content and training regarding metal and polymer AM, as well as short training tutorials. This content is based on our 150+ years of AM experience, as well as real life use cases. We would be open to share this content with the MGA community.
