Grenzebach is your partner as you move from prototype and small batch production to series production of plastic and metal parts in 3D printing.
The challenge of additive manufacturing is the long production time of a component in the printer, whereas upstream and downstream production steps have significantly shorter lead times. Intelligent automation and networking are therefore required for safe, efficient series production of components in 3D printing. Together with manufacturers of 3D printers and other additive manufacturing equipment, as well as companies that use the process, we develop holistic solutions that exactly fit the respective requirements. The advantage: optimally utilized overall solutions.
Grenzebach automation technology for additive manufacturing is independent of the printing technology used. It can be implemented for both new and existing systems. Our products range from individual components to holistic automation concepts. Specifically, we network systems such as 3D printers, saws, eroding machines, furnaces and finishing systems mechanically, electronically and digitally. If tools or intelligent aids are missing from the process, we produce and develop them in-house. With our international positioning, we implement solutions for our customers worldwide.
Mobility goes additive is known to us as a result-oriented network with a large number of significant members from the mobility and AM sectors. Grenzebach, with its many years of expertise in automation, can gladly contribute to the further establishment of additive manufacturing in the brooch. To this end, we are motivated to play an active role in working groups and to drive forward topics in which our expertise can be profitably contributed. In particular, we believe that topics relating to networking and automation of the process chain are central to advancing additive manufacturing to the next stage of development. That is why we are delighted to be shaping the future of this manufacturing technology with the members of MGA Mobility.
Network Contribution
Grenzebach's main contribution to Mobility goes additive will be its expertise in the areas of automation, intralogistics and series production, taking into account the entire process chain. To this end, Grenzebach was and is active as a solution provider and partner in research projects such as NextGenAM or Polyline, which deal with the series production of metal and plastic components. We supply solutions such as driverless e transport systems (AGVs), interfaces for existing equipment, the integration of robots, handling technologies from different manufacturers, and inspection solutions, thereby developing an automated, networked, and safe process chain.
